Sequioa Pathway Academy has been a TeacherLists.com user since 2012, when Eileen Grove spearheaded the effort in the district starting with just 12 teachers.  The new solution worked so well when back-to-school 2013 arrived all 40+ teachers were involved.  Ms Grove posted all Sequoia Pathway’s back-to-school supply lists on the site, “we’ve had an incredible response to it” Grove says.  Parents love being able to access the information directly from their smart phones.

Shortly after back-to-school Ms Grove inactivated all of the school’s back-to-school supply lists – she plans to go back in March and update the lists for back-to-school 2014, “I love the ease of the product” she says.  Once the supply lists were inactivated Ms Grove encouraged teachers to post a “Holiday Wish List”- teachers included basics such as Crayola markers as well as board games and gift cards for Lake Shore Learning Center.  It’s a great way to give parents gift ideas that will help out in the classroom.  TeacherLists.com continues to gain momentum with more and more teachers getting involved, Ms Grove is already working with other schools in the district to get them onboard-  “TeacherLists.com is one the easiest and best things that the school ever did!” she says.
