Summer Share Campaign: Share Your School Supply Lists and You Could Win This School Supply Pack (a $500 value)!summer share campaign prize pack

We at TeacherLists are happy to announce our 2018 Summer Share Campaign! It’s our newest way to encourage educators, administrators, and volunteers who manage their school’s supply lists to share their 2018 lists with their school’s parents.

The campaign offers incentives to those list managers to encourage them to share their lists early, so parents have plenty of time to shop. The first 2,500 users to share their schools’ supply lists will automatically receive a $5 Starbucks gift card. That’s a free coffee on us! Users will be notified in September 2018 via email with a digital link to their Starbucks gift card.

As well, we’ll select 10 winners at random to receive a School Supply Pack with an approximate value of $500. Winners of the School Supply Packs will be selected and notified by email in September 2018.

To be eligible for both the Starbucks gift card and the School Supply Pack prizes, an educator, school or office administrator, or school volunteer must upload and share their entire schools’ 2018-19 back-to-school supply lists on before Aug. 31, 2018.

What Does It Mean To “Share” Your Supply Lists?

Heard the term, but just not sure what it means? Sharing your lists simply means making them visible or forwarding them to parents using some really cool (and easy!) tools we’ve made available for you. You can email them, post them on your social media channels (Facebook or Twitter), link them to your classroom, school, and parent group websites, or message them out via, Class Dojo, or other messaging services. There are tons of other ways to share them, as well—whatever method you typically use to communicate with parents is the best way to share your lists with them. Check out all the options when viewing your lists by clicking the green Share button in the top right-hand side of your school’s page or your lists’ page.

Want to quickly place a banner right on your website that lets school parents know your supply lists are ready? We’ve created them for you—simply log in to your lists and click on the green Share button. Copy and paste the code onto your webpage and you’re done!

We also have some cool banners you can use on social media, as well as information about sharing your lists using some popular messaging apps.

Eligibility and New Features

Anyone who coordinates the school supply list process, such as a school secretary, technology coordinator, PTO and PTA volunteer, or school principal, can enter for a chance to win a School Supply Pack on behalf of their school. Whoever enters must sign up for a free account to create and share supply lists, but there’s no purchase required to enter the Summer Share Campaign.

“TeacherLists understands that a successful school year starts with the basics: a classroom stocked with the necessary supplies needed for teaching and learning,” says TeacherLists CEO John Driscoll. “This campaign will allow schools to take advantage of TeacherLists to share what is needed with parents at their school while at the same time rewarding these teachers with additional supplies that will support their classwork throughout the year.”

TeacherLists has added significant enhancements to the platform this year, including automatic translation of all supply lists to Spanish and a new browse-by-state function featuring an interactive map. TeacherLists is also enhancing the process for parents by enabling them to instantly find and buy the supplies their children need: Every school supply list can be purchased with just a click through select back-to-school retailers like AmazonTarget, Office Depot/Office Max, ShopRite, EPI, Dollar General, and Walmart.

So share those lists, enjoy your free coffee, and good luck in the School Supply Pack giveaway! Most of all, enjoy your summer!
