Lysol® is the latest brand to join the movement to transform the traditional school supply list
TeacherLists today announced that Lysol®, an RB brand, has joined the growing list of companies in supporting the movement to digitize back-to-school supply lists, making the process more seamless for teachers and parents nationwide. As part of the TeacherLists brand family, Lysol will aid in unifying school, parent, teacher and student supply lists into one digital platform, thereby saving time for schools and teachers and making lists available to parents exactly where, when and how they want to receive them.
“We’re thrilled that Lysol® is now part of the TeacherLists family,” said TeacherLists Founder Tim Sullivan. “Our aim is to help schools and parents connect to make sure every child has the supplies he or she needs for the first day of school. Of course, one of the foundational needs of each student and teacher is a healthy learning environment. With help from Lysol®, we can make sure that need is met in every school.”
School supply lists have been a key part of the back-to-school experience for millions of families for decades. Launched in 2012, TeacherLists is currently used at more than 40,000 schools and in more than 775,000 classrooms across the United States. The brand has transformed the process by creating a standardized system, making it simple for teachers and parents to communicate on what items are needed for the classroom. With the TeacherLists integrated digital tool, schools can easily post their school supply lists online and parents can access the lists they need from any computer, tablet or smartphone – and even directly on popular retailer websites.
“At Lysol, we are dedicated to helping foster healthier classrooms through the teaching of healthy habits and developing products that safely and effectively kill germs, like Lysol Disinfecting Wipes,” said Rory Tait, Marketing Director, Lysol. “The partnership with TeacherLists helps ensure that parents and teachers are armed with the knowledge and products they need to help create a healthy back-to-school experience, so students can focus on what matters most during the school year – learning.”
