Students will also begin to think more critically about concepts during lessons because they know they will be expected to express part of what they\u2019ve learned. Additionally, &#8220;what stuck&#8221; boards provide teachers with a better understanding of what students are taking away from lessons, and where they still need a little help. These boards are<\/span> a great alternative to tests and quizzes because they feel less formal. They&#8217;re also a great gauge for when to move to a new unit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-it\u00ae Easel Pad<\/li>\n<li>Post-it\u00ae Super Sticky Notes<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Marker<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Set up a\u00a0<\/span>Post-it\u00ae Easel Pad<span>\u00a0somewhere permanent in the room. Write \u201cwhat stuck\u201d at the top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teacherlists.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/0225-what-stuck-board-step1-body.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17809\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">At the end of each day, pass out<span>\u00a0<\/span>Post-it\u00ae Super Sticky Notes<span>\u00a0<\/span>to each student, and have them write down what they remembered most from class that day.
