School Family Media is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of the TeacherLists web application and to align with recognized accessibility standards.<\/p>\n

Conformance Status<\/h4>\n

The TeacherLists web application has been evaluated against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0<\/strong>, Levels A and AA, as well as applicable Section 508 standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Based on our most recent Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT), TeacherLists partially conforms to WCAG 2.0 Level A and Level AA<\/strong>. This means that while many areas of the application meet accessibility requirements, some aspects do not yet fully conform and are actively being improved.<\/p>\n

We do not currently claim conformance with WCAG Level AAA, which is not typically required for web applications.<\/p>\n

Scope of Evaluation<\/h4>\n

This statement applies specifically to the TeacherLists web application<\/strong>, including key user experiences such as:
\n\u2022 Supply list viewing
\n\u2022 Account access and management
\n\u2022 PowerLoader functionality
\n\u2022 Embedded iframe experiences
\n\u2022 Core list creation and management workflows<\/p>\n

This evaluation does not include other School Family Media products.<\/p>\n

Accessibility Features<\/h4>\n

TeacherLists includes a number of accessibility-supporting features, including:
\n\u2022 Logical page structure and navigation across core workflows
\n\u2022 Keyboard accessibility for most interactive elements
\n\u2022 Descriptive page titles and consistent navigation patterns
\n\u2022 Support for text resizing without loss of functionality
\n\u2022 Compatibility with common assistive technologies through standard HTML structures<\/p>\n

Known Limitations<\/h4>\n

We are aware of some accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them. Areas identified for improvement include:
\n\u2022 Inconsistent alternative text for some images and icons
\n\u2022 Gaps in form labeling and programmatic associations
\n\u2022 Keyboard interaction inconsistencies in certain components
\n\u2022 Inconsistent focus indicators and heading structures in select areas<\/p>\n

These issues may impact users who rely on assistive technologies, and we are prioritizing remediation as part of our ongoing accessibility efforts.<\/p>\n

Ongoing Efforts<\/h4>\n

Accessibility is an ongoing effort at School Family Media. Our evaluation included:
\n\u2022 Manual keyboard testing
\n\u2022 Automated testing using industry tools
\n\u2022 Visual inspection of key user flows<\/p>\n

We continue to monitor, test, and improve the platform to enhance accessibility over time and to better meet the needs of all users.<\/p>\n
