Please DO NOT label any supplies except headphones, backpack, water bottle, and lunch box. Many activities in first grade revolve around working in cooperative learning groups. When school supplies are readily available the students are able to
manage their time more efficiently. School supplies are easily mixed up between
children. PLEASE DO NOT send in any “special” items with your child. Items
such as stamps, pens, fancy pencils, crayons, markers, folders, pencil sharpeners, scented glue, etc., cause a lot of distraction for first graders, and often end up being sent home because of this. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
