All students should come prepared for the gym the first day of school in September. No jewelry is allowed in class at any time. For students with long hair, some type of hair restraint is necessary. If a student needs to be excused from Phys. Ed., a written request from the parent/guardian is required. Students excused for more than one week must provide a physician's note. For seven weeks during the school year, classes will meet in the pool for a swimming unit (NO boots, slides, or fashion shoes) For Fifth Grade Students who wear glasses may wear them with a safety strap if they have written parent permission.
