With back-to-school season in full swing, there’s a lot going on– after school activities, sports, dentist appointments, play dates, you name it. With your already busy schedule getting even crazier, you may need some help keeping track of who’s doing what. Thankfully, in the age of mobile phones and location sharing, there are a ton of apps to help. Here are 6 apps that work wonders for families while they coordinate their daily schedules!

  1. Cal by Any.do

This app has it all. It works with calendars like Google Calendar, Outlook, and Yahoo! and syncs with every connected phone in real time, meaning your kids can connect to your to-do list and add their activities so you aren’t left to figure it all out. You might like it so much you’ll even take advantage of their grocery list feature!

  1. OurHome

If you’re having trouble getting your children to complete necessary tasks like homework, reading, or chores, this is a great app for you. OurHome creates incentives for them to finish those tasks. You can assign prizes to each task, so it’s a great way to get kids back in the routine of responsibility after a fun, carefree summer.

  1. Jorte Calendar & Organizer

This is one of the most detailed scheduling apps out there, and it uses a cloud service so anyone in your family can access it. Depending on your preferences, you can build your calendar by the month, week, or day, and it will sync with your pre-existing calendars such as Microsoft Office, Google Task, and more!

  1. Cozi

Cozi uses a color-coded calendar so you can see who has an activity that day with just a glance. Each member of the family can add and edit their activities.

  1. TimeTree

What sets this app apart from the rest is the in-app chat feature, so you can easily communicate with your kids while they’re away to coordinate pickup times, dinner, etc., all in one place!

  1. GoKid

This app is specific for carpooling, so while you can use it to coordinate with your kids and their schedules, you can also connect with other parents in your school community to figure out driving arrangements.
