You’ve probably heard of Amazon Prime Day—originally created to celebrate Amazon’s birthday, it has grown into one of the most highly anticipated online shopping days of the year. While Prime Day falls in July annually, Amazon has launched a second mega sale—Amazon Prime Big Deal Days!

We know teachers like shopping, but love scoring an amazing deal even more. We’ve rounded up some great teacher-inspired deals!

Prime Big Deal Days Deals for Teachers: A Guide for Snagging

Like any Amazon sale, deals come and go quickly. To help you get the best deals, and avoid the heartbreak of seeing a sweet deal to only find out you missed it, we’ve homed in on the best ways to find and snag deals, from searching to alerts—all during the Prime Big Deal Days.

If you have items in your “save for later,” and you have the Amazon Shopping app downloaded on your phone, you will receive alerts on any of those items if they go on sale.

You can also create alerts on any item you hope goes on sale. Once on the Amazon Shopping app, tap the home icon at the bottom. Then, below the banner, select “create deal alerts.” (If you cannot find it, you can search for “deal alerts” in the search bar). Once you navigate to this area, you can add any item you want to your deal alert list.

Helpful tip—make sure you have your notifications set to allow, particularly for your watched deals.

If you aren’t sure of any specific items you are hoping to score, you can search to see what is on sale for teachers in general. It’s easy, and Amazon makes it even easier during their mega sales. In the search bar, type “teacher,” “classroom,” or something similar. Then, filter to see the deals by selecting “Today’s Deals” or “Prime Big Deals” under the Deals & Discounts section in filters. Your results will be every deal related to your query (teachers, classroom, school supplies, etc.), specifically on that day as part of the mega sale! It’s that easy, and you don’t have to worry about seeing a deal that is already over!

Deals on Amazon change every day, especially during their mega sales. If you are looking for any items in the sale (because you have a life outside of school), check the Today’s Deals tab regularly to make sure you’re getting the best deals as they arrive!
