Whether youâll be getting up before dawn to get an in-store Black Friday bargain or cozying up on the couch with your laptop on Cyber Monday, thereâs one thing we can all agree onâteachers love a good deal.
Here at TeacherLists, weâve been gathering the best deals and steals out there so teachers can take advantage of all the gift-giving savings that Black Friday 2020 has to offer (and maybe pick up a little something for themselves, too). Weâll be adding more Black Friday deals as theyâre announced closer to the big shopping day.
What’s Different in 2020Â
This year shoppers can expect fewer doorbuster deals and longer wait times to enter stores, as retailers take measures to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The good news is that some large chains are having big November sales leading up to Black Friday and are offering more delivery options to people who prefer to shop online.
If you plan to shop in stores on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, check store hours first. Many large retailers are closing their doors on Thanksgiving day and may open later on Black Friday than in past years.

Instead of saving their big deals for Black Friday, Target is offering weekly sales that start each Friday in November 2020. Check the website or sale circular each Thursday to get the details on the sale starting the next day. And thereâs no need to hold out for lower prices closer to Christmas. If Target drops its price on a Black Friday deal, theyâll match the lower price through Dec. 24.
