Here at TeacherLists, we’ve been gathering the best deals and steals out there so teachers can take advantage of all the savings that Black Friday 2023 has to offer.
And, we aren’t done yet! We will be adding more Black Friday deals as they’re announced closer to the big shopping day. Which, if you plan to shop in stores on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, check store hours first. Many large retailers are closing their doors on Thanksgiving day and may open later on Black Friday than in past years.
Early Black Friday Sales
Amazon dropped Early Black Friday Deals with tons of new daily deals every day leading up to Black Friday.
Instead of saving all of their big deals for Black Friday, Target will be revealing new pre-Black Friday deals every Sunday throughout November. Plus, if Target drops its price on a Black Friday deal, they’ll match the lower price through Dec. 24 so you can maximize your savings all season long!
Walmart plans three separate November sales in what it’s calling Black Friday Deals for Days. Sales begin on Walmart.com every Monday in November, and new deals are announced each week.
- Pre-Black Friday sales begin Nov. 10
- True Black Friday sales begin Nov. 24, or Nov. 22 for all Walmart+ members
- Cyber Monday (Nov. 27): Walmart will close out a month of incredible savings with its Cyber Monday event.
Walmart is also bringing back its highly anticipated Early Access benefit, and it’s better than ever. Paid Walmart+ members will have the advantage of an extended early access window that begins seven hours before the scheduled start times for all three events on Walmart.com.
Black Friday Home, Fashion, and Self-Care Deals
While they haven’t confirmed exact dates and deals yet, their routine hasn’t changed much. Deals are expected to start Nov. 24 and run until Nov. 27, with savings up to 50% storewide.
Ulta is unique because most deals are set by the brands they have in-store. Generally, you can expect to see 30-40% off sales across cult-favorite beauty brands. However, they have early Black Friday deals you can start shopping now through Nov. 18!
Bath & Body Works is famous for their buy-3-get-3-free deals across every department–you can even mix-and-match home fragrance and body care. The sale is expected to start Nov. 20 and go through Cyber Monday, Nov. 27!
Macy’s has a large selection of items ranging from 25-70% off! This year, their Black Friday ad is 17-pages long. The savings event has already started and is going through Nov. 25 while supplies lasts.
The high-end department store is currently teasing deals starting Nov. 24 from brands like UGG, North Face, Tory Burch, and more! Perfect for any fashion lover on a budget.
Their Black Friday ad is 48 pages long. You read that right. Deals span the entire store across all brands. They have two sales going on the week of Black Friday:
-Black Friday sale beginning Nov. 19 until Nov. 24
-“Super Deals” online beginning Nov. 23 and in-store Nov. 24, ending when stores close on the 24th.
True, the major home retailer closed its doors earlier this year, but Overstock.com has taken over their website and launched an enormous Black Friday sale. You can score up to 70% off on thousands of items starting now, with additional sales offered storewide.
Black Friday Books, School Supplies, and Craft Deals
Add books to your classroom library by shopping Barnes & Noble’s Black Friday sale with up to 50% off books.
Deals like 50% off, BOGO deals, and coupons to drop the total at checkout can help you buy books for your classroom library at an affordable rate. Plus, when you become a Books-A-Million member, you can get free shipping on your orders.
From crafts to Cricut machines, JoAnn has a lot of classroom must-haves for teachers with slashed prices on Black Friday. In addition to doorbusters, watch their ad for a coupon to take an additional percentage off of your order.

Save on school and office supplies, computers and printers with the lowest prices of the season. You can start shopping online Thursday, but you cannot shop in stores until Friday morning. Some sales are even happening now!
