Halloween Treats (No Tricks!) to Make this October

Cooking and baking are staple activities in the fall. As the weather cools down and the days get shorter, our desire to get cozy (and maybe a little spooky) only increases. These fun, kid-friendly Halloween treats are a great way to get in the Halloween spirit in the days leading up to the big day! What’s more, there’s plenty of room for help from the small hands in the kitchen too.

Peanut Butter Bat Cups

Peanut butter cups are a family favorite at Halloween! In fact, many kids hope they’re available at every door during trick-or-treating. This recipe transforms the beloved candy into not-so-scary bats for the season. The best of the Halloween treats!

Apple Mouths

Your kids won’t even realize these reimagined peanut butter apple snacks are healthy! With almonds as the teeth, Apple Mouths make for a perfect after-school snack all October long.

Ghost Smores Dip

Pair the chocolatey, marshmallow-y goodness with a fire in the backyard, or even a spooky movie for a quintessential October experience. This is sure to be a family favorite!

Brownie Dirt Cups

These brownie dirt cups are vegan and gluten-free for every plant-based and/or gluten-free member of the house. If you grew up with dirt cup snacks, you’ll love this update on an old classic.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

This is a great recipe for getting the kids involved. Have them wrap their hot dog in crescent dough to create a scary mummy dog! This is a hit at playdates and Halloween parties too!

Eyeball Cake Pops

Decorating these cake pops will definitely be your child’s favorite part of this recipe!

Pumpkin Hummus

If your family just carved a few pumpkins and you don’t know what to do with the guts, look no further! Pumpkin hummus is an easy, festive, and delicious Halloween treat!

Turkey & Zucchini-Stuffed Jack O’Lantern Peppers

Dinnertime can be fun and spooky too! Have your child carve out the Jack O’Lantern face just like a pumpkin so they can feel the Halloween spirit too.
